Gradient provides us a blend between two or more colors. It is used to create various effects in photoshop. You can use the default gradients in Photoshop or create your own gradient sets. The gradient file ends with the extension .grd.
How to Use Gradient in Photoshop
To use the gradient tool in Photoshop, select it using the shortcut G. (It is in the same toolbox with Paint Bucket Tool). Once selected, go to the tool panel and click on the sample to show you Gradient Editor. You can then select a gradient from the presets available.
